International Conference on Alzheimer´s and Parkinson´s Diseases (AP/PD) 2011

The AP/DP conference takes place in the CCIB Convention Centre from 9th to 13th March 2011. The conference uniquely combines distinct neurodegenerative diseases in one setting and examine their integration. The last conference was in 2009 and received 2,346 international medical  professionals.

An even larger number of attendees are expected in 2011 and the profile is both basic scientists and clinicians. The organizers also hope to attract increasing interest from junior colleagues in the field- their involvement will shape the future medical advances for these critical diseases. There will be an extensive young investigators program including scientific presentations, the opportunity to meet top researchers and clinicians and travel awards.

The CCIB centre is located less than 6 kilometers from downtown Barcelona and is located by the sea. 16th, 17th and 18th June 2011 Barcelona

One of Barcelona´s most famous and renowned music and art festivals takes place in various venues throughout the city over three days in June 2011. Each year this festival is attended by thousands for its unique format and content, featuring consolidated and new artists.

Sónar Barcelona is enjoyed by night and day, with many of the workshops, showcases and exhibitions taking place during the day, later followed by concerts from established names and faces in the international electronic scene.
