Best beaches for spring in BCN
Spring is one of our favourite seasons in Barcelona due to its soft temperatures and mostly sunny days. For this reason, we have made a selection of three beaches you have to visit for sure if you come to the city during this beautiful time!
Barceloneta beach – The beach of Barceloneta is the most crowded beach in Barcelona. There you will hardly find any local because it is noisy and touristy, but it is very entertaining too. In addition, you will be surrounded by one of the most typical views of Barcelona: the Mapfre Tower and on the other side, the W hotel with its mythical silhouette. If you are not really into bathing you can always take some roller-skates or a bike to stroll around the beach promenade.
How about going there from your apartment in the center? From there you can get to the beach by foot, public transport or with a bicycle. You will enjoy the ride for sure!
Nova Icaria Beach – This beach usually attracts a younger audience and is located next to Olympic Marina and observatory. For the most moviegoers, from this beach you can set up a beach + film plan as it is near the Nova Icária shopping center that offers a selection of English-speaking films. A good plan for when you leave the beach and still want to enjoy the day. Another option is to practice water sports, with the possibility of booking sessions both in Spanish and English online.
As comfort is one of the most important points when traveling, you may be interested to know that many of our apartments are located near the beach, from some of them you can even watch the tides. How does that sound?
Bogatell Beach – Bogatell beach is a fifteen minute walk from the Bogatell metro stop. This beach is much quieter and cleaner than Barceloneta. There you will also find a young environment and many options for practicing sports.
Anyway, if you decide to book one of our apartments next to the beach, it may be less than fifteen minutes. What about this one?
