Cine Lliure a la Platja (Free cinema on the beach) is an especial activity, a new way to watching films in an unusual environment, a collective experience that focuses on outdoor activities and on unconventional productions. The movies chosen for the review will reflect the philosophy of the festival, an experience of freedom, an alternative to commercial cinema and a tribute to creativity. No one will require you nothing on the beach, no entry charge or establish rules of behavior, there will be not queues or controls, you’ll be able to play, drink, eat, share and watch a good movie.
Cine Lliure a la Platja is a poetic experience that retrieves you the idea of sharing art in a public space, involving the idea of celebration. The initiative will program contents that are not usually seen on TV or cinema. It will select short, medium and films that reflect the spirit of the festival: quality, originality and a contemporary, urban and experimental taste.
