Fens Forum 2012

The latest developments in brain research will be presented at the 8th FENS Forum of Neuroscience, a meeting with 6500 neuroscientists in the CCIB Convention Centre in Barcelona, Spain, from July 14-18.

8th FENS Forum Neuroscience Barcelona

The FENS Forum of Neuroscience is the largest international neuroscience meeting in Europe, involving all neuroscience societies members of FENS, and held every two years on even years. The event is organized by the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) and hosted by the Sociedad Española de Neurociencia.

The programme of the FENS Forum 2012 will attract around 6500 international delegates to present important advances in fields such as:
• Brain development
• Learning and memory
• Behaviour and emotions
• Spinal cord injury
• Genetics

FENS organizes three series of scientific meetings, the FENS Forums, the FENS Featured Regional Meetings, and the FENS-ESF Neuroscience Conference Series on the Dynamic Brain to promote neuroscience research both in Europe at large and in the respective countries of its member societies, and to facilitate the interaction between scientists in and outside Europe.
