Mobile Week 2019 Barcelona
A new edition of the Mobile World Congress has arrived to Barcelona. It is one of the most important meetings in the world that focuses on new technologies and in the mobile sphere. It is not surprising that with the impact that devices have on our lives, thousands and thousands of people congregate to discover the latest developments and trends.
What is it?
Mobile Week is about talks, workshops, exhibitions and other activities that seek to bring technology and culture closer to citizens in order to show the impact that digitalization has in our lives.
What do we recommend?
1. mWeek Conferences
Recognized figures such as Amber Case, member of the research department Institute for the Future or Oscar Broc, a famous journalist or Cecilia Tham, an incredible entrepreneur will talk about their personal and professional experience. They also will give us their vision of the social change that technologies have driven.
2. mWeek Families
Technologies are not just for adults; they can also be useful for children. At Mobile Week Barcelona there is a space for these kids to learn and play through technology. Workshops are as making a robot, a sword of light, musical electronic games, short film sessions or workshops on fake news…
3. mWeek Exhibition
The artistic part of the event cannot be ignored. At the Design Museum from 14 February to 16 March, you can enjoy the exhibitions of ten artists selected to give their point of view on technology. In addition, there will be four invited works including ‘Environment dress 2.0′ by María Castellanos and Alberto Valverde, ‘Post-society’ by Fidel García and ‘Ultimate Emoji’ by Albert Barqué-Duran.
