Description
Located just next to the Palau de la Música, the concert hall often described as one of the most beautiful in the world, this remodeled and refurbished apartment in the medieval area known as La Ribera/El Borne in Barcelona centre is bound to keep you right at the heart of the action.
This apartment maintains many original features including high ceilings, hardwood and ceramic tile floor finishes and open plan living space. It has 4 bedrooms- 2 doubles (one of which is sofa bed) and 4 twins (which can be made into double on request). One bedroom is a duplex with living area, and another is an annex en-suite bedroom off the terrace. With 4 bathrooms also it is ideal spot for families and groups. Outside, there is a large private terrace with dining area.
Even though the apartment is central- close to the central square Plaza Catalunya, Urquinaona and Via Laietana, the neighbourhood is relatively tranquil and residential. The streets are lined with medieval buildings which maintain their original façade. The nearby chic Rambla del Borne and small side streets just off it are lined unique shops and boutiques, galleries, and small cafes and bars… plenty to explore!
Bed linens and towels are provided for each guest in the apartment. Facilities include hot/cool AC, safety deposit box, intercom, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, electric kettle, coffee maker, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, toaster and microwave and phone landline with free calls to other national landlines. There is Wifi internet throughout the apartment.
The Area
Borne is the part of the city which has witnessed resurgence over the years. It is now a chic district with good shopping and many small charming restaurants and lounge bars. The apartment is close to the Cathedral Santa Maria del Mar, Picasso Museum and the Santa Caterina market.
The closest metro Line is Jaume 1 and the apartment is also well situated for bus and taxi services.

GrGreat Location central to almost everything nice view from terrace and great for 4 people a little tight for 6, check-in person was great. We had you arrange for a pickup services from the airport but they never showed.

location was terrific, back living area and large patio were comfortable for all of us - kitchen worked well with plenty of appliances, dishes, pans. nice amount of space in the apartment overall!

Thank you for the very nice stay at your apartment in Barcelona. The service was very god, everything from the first phone call with guiding from the airport throughout the week, and at the departure. We were helped by Jorge who was professional and gave good information aroud the football game (Barcelon-Hercules). Unfortunately Barca lost, but we don't blame Jorge for this ;-) We were very much helped by your staff - what a wonderful people! They gave us good information on everything from transportation and sight-seeing to clubbing and cafées. We appreciated their work very much.
